RUSSIA: SOWING TERROR AND TENSION AGAINST AMERICA THROUGH IRAN

Russia is attacking America through Iran. This is not accidental or indirect. It is deliberate strategy. For nearly 50 years, the Ayatollah regime has openly chanted “death to America,” and it has done so with Russia as its primary ally.

Russia uses Iran as a proxy to damage American credibility and power in the Middle East. With Russia’s support, the Iranian regime sends billions to terrorist organizations like Hezbollah and Hamas, groups responsible for the deaths of Americans and Israelis. These attacks advance Russia’s goal of weakening U.S. influence without forcing Moscow into direct conflict.

This partnership is mutually reinforcing. Russia provides Iran with fighter aircraft and advanced weapons systems that can easily proliferate to terrorist groups. In return, Iran supplies Russia with Predator-style drones used on the battlefield in Ukraine. This military cooperation fuels war and terrorism across both Europe and the Middle East, expanding instability far beyond any single conflict.

Russia also helps Iran evade and overcome American financial sanctions, deliberately undermining U.S. economic power and attempting to prove that America is ineffective and unable to enforce consequences in the region. Each successful evasion is meant to weaken confidence in U.S. leadership and deterrence.

Beyond weapons and money, Russia provides expertise. Russian intelligence services train the Iranian government in suppressing domestic protests and conducting surveillance against the United States, Israel, and Europe. The most recent crackdown on Iranian protests, carried out with this assistance, resulted in the deaths of an estimated 30,000 Iranians.

Most dangerous of all, with Russia’s help the Iranian regime continues pursuing nuclear weapons and advanced missile technology that could be used directly against Israel and the United States. Iran does not act independently in these efforts. Acts of terrorism, regional aggression, and strategic escalation occur with Moscow’s approval.

Russia is attacking America through Iran, economically, militarily, politically, and ideologically, using a proxy it controls to weaken U.S. power while avoiding direct confrontation.
