RUSSIA-CHINA ALLIANCE:
AN EXISTENTIAL THREAT TO THE UNITED STATES

Russia is attacking America through its collaboration with China. The Communist government of China poses an unprecedented existential threat to the United States of America and its chief ally is Russia. The Russian and Chinese engage in regular attacks that are not conventional, at least for now, but they are collusive, often covert, and pose a critical threat to American national security.

Today, Russia and China are actively working against the United States around the world. Their so-called “no limits” partnership is focused on countering America’s economic strength and national security interests on a global scale. Rather than confronting the United States directly, Russia seeks to amplify China’s challenge to American power.

China clearly recognizes that the Ukraine war is about weakening the West and the United States. China is providing major economic and technological support to Russia in the war. Because of American sanctions, Russia increasingly depends on China for its energy and industrial exports. Recent estimates have China backing approximately 60% of Russia’s war-related trade by supplying semiconductors, drones, and machine tools while purchasing massive amounts of Russian oil to finance the war.

Russia and China also cooperate in espionage against American companies in defense, technology, and critical industries, posing a direct threat to U.S. security and economic well-being. They do not seek to compete by building better products; they seek to steal American technology and duplicate it cheaply for their own use.

Beyond economics and espionage, Russia and China coordinate disinformation campaigns against the United States. These efforts are designed to undermine constructive public debate, polarize the political environment, and push divisions toward instability and violence.

Russia and China are both committed to weakening America to the greatest extent possible in order to seize political and military domination on a global scale.
